While I have no intention of getting into any long drawn out discourse on the value of trees in every landscape, I must say that I am surprised to see so many landscapes, even on new home sites that are practically naked so far as trees are concerned, even after landscaping has been completed.

Like all other plants used in the plan, they must be serving a real purpose and I think this is the most important point I have tried to emphasize. While I have stated many times that the lawn is the canvas upon which the landscape picture is drawn, that in itself would be little more than a miniature pasture patch if nothing more was done in the way of planting.

The AceKard was originally announced on GBAtemp not long ago. A prototype version showed up about 2 months ago, which got many members excited. Unfortunately, the AceKard is currently (as of 24th November 06) only available in China and Chinese import stores. But I've been told by the manufacturer directly that an English version is under way and will be officially announced soon.

Luckily, we've managed to get hold of the English client software and firmware for the AceKard for this review. So the software and firmware you see in this review should be similar to the final English version.

ds lite

I have a ds lite. It fell and is holding together with a piece of duct tape and the “L” button doesn’t work so I have decided to get the new dsi. I will also get the acekard 2i but will I have to reload all my games, etc?
Also do the ds rom downloads work pretty much the same on the acekard?

Acekard 2i freezes during your process of playing games.

Tip1:
1.First, format your SD card with SD for matter (back up your stuffs before doing it)
2.Install AKAIO 1.5 (”_aio/” folder and “akmenu4.nds” file on the root).
3.Get the latest loader and put it in the “_aio/loaders” folder.
4.Create some folders for your game, home-brews, etc.. and enjoy.

Tip2:
1.Reformat
2.Re-download ROMS That Freeze
3.Install akAIO 1.5 again
4.Update to the latest loaders
5.try it out

Acekard 2i on DSi

No matter when you are loading Acekard 2i on DSi or during the process of playing games, it is all possible for your Acekard 2i to freezes. As this problem happens, how to deal with it seems very important. Just follow me here, and I will teach you some useful tips to deal with Acekard 2i freeze problems.

1)When you insert the Acekard in the DSi, it says “loading” and nothing happens.

Tip1: As this happens, do not panic. Make sure there is a micro-SD card inside the Acekard with the right firmware. Because if you try to start without micro-SD card, it will appear the message “loading” but it won’t pass from this point.

Firefox 3.6 keeps freezing and becoming non responsive

I am having Firefox 3.6 and it keeps freezing and becoming non responsive.
I have been forced to go back to IE7 with no problems. I would rather use
Firefox. Why is Firefox freezing and becoming non responsive ?

I have scanned my computer for all bugs and my computer is clean.I have even tried by disabling my add-ons for Firefox,upgrading to Firefox 3.6 Beta (revision 5) [3.6b5] downgrading to Firefox 3.5 and tried deleting my cookies and internet temp files and I have the same problem.

Connecting My Laptop to a TV, Not sure what connector I need

Hey there

I would like to connect my laptop to my TV, but I'm not sure what connector I need to do this.

My laptop has a S-Video and VGA port, and the TV has 2 scart and 1 aerial 'holes' (what's the name for this?!) and something else but I don't know what it's called.

Any help would be appreciated

Printing a PPT as a PDF

Hello
I am suddenly having trouble with Microsoft Powerpoint and PDFCamp Printer. I create PPTX files that are 12MB and usually print to PDFCamp Printer to compress the size and create a file that is <1MB. However, starting yesterday when I selected this option to print, the 4.5MB file that I printed as a PDF is now a 7.1MB PDF. For some reason when the file converted from PPT to PDF the file size actually increased! I tried multiple files and this started happening with each of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions to why it happens so?

CD burner is not burning

My cd burner is not burning. It reads and plays CD & DVDs just fine. It use to burn CD's but now it doesn't. When i try and burn a CD it goes through the whole process of burning. But when the CD comes out it comes out blank. Don't know what is wrong with it. I have Windows XP.

Well, I've read through quite a few posts and tried most of the suggestions and nothing seems to work. I'm having winXP operating system and a Netgear wireless N 300 router with DSL modem. since last two ,I lost internet connection with my desktop. After checking all connections and the router, I tried connecting wirelessly with my laptop...worked fine. I disconnected the ethernet cable from the desktop and the laptop connected via the cable with no problems. So I figured it was the port. After installing a new ethernet port, it worked...for 12 hours. Then the same problem cropped up again.

I've tried repairing the internet connection and get the "cannot renew IP address".

Any thoughts?
